Class Description
This class will be an introduction to homebrewing with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. Learn to make an herbal or vegetable beer and a basic mead (honey wine). We will be utilizing as many products (honey, vegetables, fruits, herbs) from the farm as possible. No experience is necessary.
What to Bring
Water, bug spray, sun block…anything you generally need when spending time outside in Georgia during July. Also, I hope to provide burgers (both beef and black bean) as well as some samples of my brews. Please bring a side dish that you can share. Will provide more details on the food situation when it gets closer to the event.
Directions
Take I-285 West. Exit at I-20 West toward Birmingham. Take the first exit–Fulton Industrial Blvd–turn left and continue. Fulton Industrial becomes Hwy 70 and Cascade/Palmetto Rd. You will encounter Hwy 166 aka Cambelton Rd but ignore it and cross over to continue on Cascade/Palmetto until you reach a traffic signal at the ONLY Texaco Station on your route. Turn right to go NORTH on Hwy 92. In one mile you meet Hwy 166 as it turns WEST toward Carrollton. Take this turn; It is the last drive before obvious the Bridge number 3260 on the mailbox on the right. Turn in and bear left through the gate.
