Fresh beer always tastes the best…so why not make your own? Join me at the Oakhurst Community Garden and learn how to brew herbal beers and wines. I’ll teach you the basics of brewing with traditional/medicinal herbs and other locally-grown ingredients. You will leave the class feeling confident enough to start brewing your first batch of local brew.

The Oakhurst Community Garden Project (OCGP) teaches environmental awareness through hands-on gardening and outdoor education programs. The OCGP is located at the corner of South McDonough Street and Oakview Road in Decatur, just southwest of Agnes Scott College.

Bring in the holidays with your own festive libations. Learn how to brew seasonal hard cider and metheglin (spiced honey wine) using locally-grown ingredients and traditional/medicinal herbs and spices.
